Privacy Policy

Account data: name, e-mail address, phone number, profile photo, role and password (stored hashed).

Pet and care data: pet profiles, photos, health records, nutrition plans, bookings, messages, reviews and lost & found reports.

Location data: the map pins you set for services, requests or lost pet reports.

Payment data: order and subscription status. Card details are handled by Stripe, not by us.

Technical data: log data, device and browser information, and cookies (see the Cookie Policy).

To run your account and show the right dashboard for your role (performance of a contract).

To match owners with providers, deliver orders and process payments (performance of a contract).

To send service notifications and, with your consent, alerts about lost pets nearby (contract / consent).

To keep the platform safe, prevent abuse and meet legal and tax obligations (legitimate interest / legal obligation).

Providers you contact see the details needed to deliver the service. Public content you publish — service listings, lost & found reports, community posts — is visible to other users.

We use processors for hosting and database services, payments (Stripe), e-mail delivery and maps. They act only on our instructions.

We do not sell your personal data.

Account and pet data are kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised within 12 months after closure. Invoices and payment records are kept for 7 years for Dutch tax law.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability at team.petspulse@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with per-user access rules so that you only reach your own records. Photos and documents are served through short-lived signed links.
